Error

• Random Error - Errors that are introduced because of the thing being measured, and is different for each trial -ex. you can't measure a room with a meterstick without some error
  
• Systematic Error - Errors that are made by the measuring instrument, and is the same for each trial - ex. bent ruler
  

Accuracy and Precision

• Accuracy: How close a number is to an accepted value, the real value
  
• Precision: How close a measurement is to similar measurements
